Teamfight Manager 2 patch notes

Listed newest first. Patch summaries are derived from the official Steam news posts; balance commentary is added once we've played a few games on the new version.

  • Patch 0.5.0_beta1Beta2026-06-10

First 0.5.0 beta build (opt-in via Steam Betas). Headline addition is a new champion, Sand Mage — an AP-based DPS dealer whose Skill 1 adds critable magic damage and a sand explosion to basic attacks, Skill 2 grants move speed and self-healing, and ultimate creates a pulling sand-swamp zone that deals magic damage over its duration. As a beta it can be unstable, Mods may not work, and saves may be incompatible until the official build updates.

  • Patch 0.4.122026-06-10

Twelfth post-launch patch. Adds an Edit Current Database tool (Options > Gameplay) for editing the in-progress save — host-only and synced in multiplayer, with people-deletion and full imports restricted to protect active saves — and improves the frame-processing path to cut excessive CPU usage and heat. Boomerang Hunter's ultimate AI is less conservative with its bounce fixed and range raised 60000 → 90000; automatic balance now adjusts Mod-added champions properly. Plus a recruitment fix so AI can't outbid a better player offer, post-Playoff prize money paid on final standings, and a new official cadence: minor patches every Wednesday at 1–2 week intervals, majors via the beta program.

  • Patch 0.4.112026-06-08

Eleventh post-launch patch. Adds pre-match fan-prediction News (team rating, roster strength, recent form, head-to-head, standings, fan atmosphere, plus virtual odds) and Thai language support. Big league-data integrity pass: edited region/league/competition names now persist everywhere, missing player and Playoff records restored, full-list Solo Rank sorting. Contract/finance fixes — accepted renewals apply on the start date and are announced via News, re-sign budget display corrected, prize money now updates Recruitment/Salary budgets immediately. Match-engine base-defense logic improved (replay caveat), plus a meta-relevant rookie/FA pool and aging-curve rework that reduces stat inflation and flattens late-career decline.

  • Patch 0.4.102026-06-05

Tenth post-launch patch — the first big balance pass. Necromancer (Ghoul coefficients, faster ult) and Voodoo Shaman (Skill 1 damage/range/scaling, faster ult ticks) buffed; Whip Master and Gambler ults nerfed; Plague Doctor ult penalty reworked to −50% current HP; Berserker low-HP ult-cooldown bug fixed; Lifesteal now applies to Sniper and others' basic attacks. Plus schedule fixes (date stuck at 23:50, mid-season format-option corruption), custom-database crash and load-stall fixes, and assorted UI/audio/achievement fixes.

  • Patch 0.4.92026-06-04

Ninth post-launch patch (plus a same-day hotfix). Champion-AI fixes — Prisoner and Illusionist no longer cast Skill 2 into empty space, and several skill descriptions were corrected — alongside a match-engine pathfinding-freeze fix (standard pre-patch replay caveat). Contract-renewal stuck states from old saves resolved, Training Facility upgrade bonus now actually applies (the hotfix later fixed facility values briefly reading as 0), plus list-aware prev/next navigation with hover cards, a shortcut-key remap popup, S-key lobby saving, oversized-image warnings, and multiplayer host-order and text-mod merge fixes.

  • Patch 0.4.82026-06-03

Eighth post-launch patch — a quality-of-life and editing pass. Options reorganized into tabs with several New Game settings now changeable mid-play (patch, ban/pick, stat visibility, rules, simulation intensity); new Vertical Sync / Frame Limit / windowed-resolution options; a tier filter on the Ban/Pick list; a big Database Edit Numbers-tab expansion (balance, minions, jungle/objectives, towers, effects, auto-balance values); staff appearance/portrait editing; and item sorting on roster screens. Fixes for Mac fullscreen/black-screen issues, starting-lineup popup clipping, the Training Efficiency cap and high-potential growth normalization, scouting-report/Scouting-List consistency, Player History attribution after transfers, and post-side-switch champion positions.

  • Patch 0.4.72026-06-02

Seventh post-launch patch. New Staff Dialogue system in ban/pick (Head Coach overall draft advice + Analyst data-backed enemy reads, ban/pick candidates, solo-kill probability, gold gaps) and a champion-statistics overlay on the ban/pick screen. Combat changes: home-base healing-reduction penalty removed, in-match vision +~30%, laning positioning and recall/buy decisions tuned (replay-incompatibility caveat). Champion fixes for Necromancer (ghoul overproduction, ult-summoned Dual Bladers) and Ninja (post-death stealth/vision). Auto-balance reworked — intensity now scales magnitude (Light/Moderate 70%, Heavy 100%) with recalibrated cumulative caps and ult-cooldown limits. Plus a transfer-market/recruitment overhaul, Facilities merchandise clearance, Mac/fullscreen fixes, and Polish language support.

  • Patch 0.4.62026-05-29

Sixth post-launch patch — daily cadence holds. AI team transfer-market overhaul (first-div starter protection, valuation consistency, transfer-distribution tail), match-engine optimization (memory, frame drops, positioning AI — with replay-incompatibility caveat), Facilities direct price/quantity entry, pick/ban perf + new hide-tier/position/effects toggles, tournament draw system, click-to-edit player appearances, Mac scrolling + next-opponent UI restored.

  • Patch 0.4.52026-05-28

Fifth post-launch patch and the largest so far — stability sweep (Game Info / match / Champion Info / match-results crash fixes, permission-path file-op crash, audio-thread fallback), pick/ban screen rework (alphabetical sort + champion search + position tooltip on hover), new Player History / Team History tabs, in-game tier editing from Champion Analysis, skip-first-season-transfer-market option, and balance nerf-vs-buff timing fix.

  • Patch 0.4.42026-05-27

Fourth post-launch patch — localization fixes, multiplayer reliability against AI teams, Manager Training early-end, scout-delegated negotiation date stall, draft-screen presentation effects, and a global item-price increase.

  • Patch 0.4.32026-05-26

Third post-launch patch — Steam-connection stability, multiplayer error recovery, draft tutorial bug, and a reversed-snap move-speed bug.

  • Patch 0.4.22026-05-26

Second post-launch patch — broad bug-fix sweep covering save files, Linux launch, audio, tactics screen, Database Edit, and a tower-interaction bug.

  • Patch 0.4.12026-05-25

Launch-day hotfix — the first patch after the 2026-05-25 Early Access release. Workshop mod overrides, Manager Training progression, multiplayer game-speed.
